Hi guys,
I would like to hear your opinion on these two motors. Supposing i'm going to use one of them on a formula style/go-kart, i would like to know which one would be better in terms of power/torque/efficiency.
These are the data i obtained for these two motors:
--> Mars Electric: PMAC-DS:
.output Power 12 kW Continuous, 30 kW Peak Power
.16 kg
.0-96 V DC input / 0-72 V AC input
.peak torque 94 Nm
.max rpm 5000
.85% overall efficiency
--> Agni Motors: AGNI B 95R:
.output Power 9.5 kW at 48V Continuous , 30 kW Peak Power (for 5 seconds)
.11-13 kg
.12-72 V DC
.peak torque 53 Nm
.max rpm 6000
.93% peak efficiency
From what I found the PMAC-DS seems slightly less efficient. Despite being heavier it seems to deliver more power/torque. Moreover it is cheaper than the agni. I would like to have your thoughts, especially as i have little experience with any of them.
