I am going to get the badwolf v2 printed from shapeways as I dont have a 3D printer.

Do you have to use resistors? When is he releasing it that you dont need to move USB port?

I know I have to cut some off but underneath the left side of where you have to cut it there is a silver thing. Am I supposed to cut that off?

If anyone wants to print and assemble one with the rechargeable batteries I am interested in buying.

I do not currently use resistors and it works fine, but I am not an electronics expert.

I am not sure what "silver thing" you are talking about. Could you take a picture of it?

I got the bundle of the 680 Ohm 1/4w resistors. A *few* more than i might need. If it only takes a minute to do it like Badwolf suggests - that's what i'm going to do.

For anyone who needs a couple, i think i can spare a few from the 100 i got. (same price as smaller #, so duh got more)

I'm going to take pics as i build mine and will post up my how-to when finished.

If you want two of these resistors - PM me. We can do it easy (because i'm lazy and don't have that many stamps) if you send me a stamped envelope and i'll drop them in the mail to anyone here who wants a couple.

Edit - not sure about folks out of the states, but if you are willing to include stamps to mail it back to you in (zimbabwe?) i'm happy to share. Might (likely) more than just getting them locally!

is there a thread on how to put the gtb2 remote (or whatever its called: I have one just can't remember the exact name off the top of my head) contents in his 3D printed enclosure?

I agree with CSN- it would be cool if badwolf found someone to partner with, and they started selling pre made remotes. It'd be the first good diy remote that you don't have make custom, so I can see it being very popular for people who either don't have a 3D printer, or don't want to take apart a remote, replace the battery, and move connectors around.

I think your OK to cut that off. Look at the diagram below:

Honestly, I don't recall seeing that, because I would have questioned it also. And I have two of them.

Thanks. Do you know if I can re-solder a Tx antenna on? Its a GT2B.

You should be able too. It may be a different type of solder. I honestly have never had to solder an antenna back on. Hopefully Freshair knows for sure.

Freshair does not know for sure, haha. :p
Lol. I have heard that you can re-solder it but it loses like half a foot of range. That doesn't matter because I will be a foot away from the receiver :D

What do you think?
