I have this charger;

It's 12S capable and has two balance ports, 1-6 then a separate port for 7-12. My issue is the 10S battery i'm trying to balance charge is really 2-5S batteries in series with two separate 5S balance leads. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html
I think I have a solution to charge all 10 in series while balancing with the unequal balance port situation. Can someone out there check my idea?
TIA,
Brian

Why not just charge them in series with each 5S JST plug going into each port? My 12S A123 has a similar situation except 6S. The charger understands a skipped contact area and will read it as 10S. Certainly worth the test as the ports are safety built and would just give an error message if it will not charge. So try the first JST (port on the right) as 1-5 and the second as 7-11.

I tried that but the charger gave me its' middle finger. I'm pretty sure I do need to fabricate a solution to this issue. I just can't get my head around what the 10S able charger wants to see to make this work.
