Bashed in cells

I got a package of a 100+ recycled and tested 18650s from batteryhookup (blue LG's), and about a third of the cells have a dented positive terminal. Some of them also have a small dent in the negative terminal.
Luckily the dents dont seem too deep, I'm pretty sure I can still spot weld them without trouble.
But should I worry about it? See photos: https://imgur.com/a/s07GGaZ
Thanks

For sure I wouldn't worry about the positive end unless it's caved in all the way. The negative end is a little more critical but may still be OK if the dents are not more than 0.5mm or so. If the negative end gets dented too much, it could possibly crush the separator and short something.

Phew, thank you.
I can barely feel the dent on the negative end, but it's still visible.
Then again these cells are tested, so they lasted at least 1 cycle looking like that :p

I hope you got a good deal on them. Anything used has increased risk, so always charge in a fire-safe location.

I have been using 18650 with slightly bend positive for quite sometime .
they got dented by + charger terminal springs acting with too much force.
