@dnmun... yah, he's a paraglider... From vids, paragliders can run to take off, but also have 1- and 2-seater trikes... This is the first dual prop I have seen. Not a lot of details on the web so far.

I see some advantages:
1) Twin means you can do opposite rotation... no torque reaction. Electric makes this easy. Previously, every contra-rotating paramotor I've seen (using internal combustion engines) either used 2 engines (heavy) or one engine with a complicated gearbox.
2) Electric motors are so light that you can put them a long way behind the pilot (so pilot's arms can't reach prop). If you tried this with internal combustion engines, it would be too "back-heavy".
3) Because the props are so far back, with no need for a strong guard to keep arms out, you only need a light-weight guard to protect lines from prop. This reduces weight.
At the moment, he is not using a guard, but he plans to.
Time will tell how practical this is.
