Hi everyone. I'm going to rebuild a 24V NiMH Bionx battery for a friend. Any ideas what batteries I can use as a direct replacement? My friend is happy with the old system and just wants it to run like when it was new. Any ideas what NiMH batteries I should be sourcing? I know the choices will all be crappy compared to all the modern stuff, I would like to rebuild the pack with the best replacement NiMH batteries available. I have access to a spot welder so there is no need to solder the pack together. Any ideas?

Those look like D cells to me but they might be 2/3rd F cells if you give us measurements we could tell you what they are.

If they are D cells being the best option for you really is these Tenergy cells.

I would personally use Low Self Discharge D cells like these

But i couldn't find those cells for sale in North America strangely.
