now that Bionx is banckrupt in Canada I have nowhere to get this motor serviced. The issue is that the motor freehub is shaky, like if a bearing was bad. See this video.

If anyone has fix this in the past any help would be appreciated. I'm willing to do this on my own as I have basic mechanic skills.
Post any photos if you can.

Thanks,

Claude

Your problem is as simple as they come. You have a worn out bearing. Disassemble, find the exact same size at any bearing shop, reassemble.

I was hoping to get disassembly lead.... I'm pretty sure I can find a bearing equivalent out there, but not sure about the freehub model or part #.

Thanks

Disassembly should be pretty simple. There must be a locking ring/screw, that will free the hub to be pulled out.

The bearing should be the only part that need to be replaced.

Hello,

I have the same issue (worn out D500 free wheel hub). Can I pls get more info, what to replace, how to take it apart?
Thank you very much!

Post more once you figure out how to remove the freehub.

Did you ever find the socket to dismount the freehub on a Bionx D500 motor? If you did find the socket, please tell me the name of Manufacturer and tool part number or the company that sells the tool in the year 2025
