Hi,
I am quite new to the EV space. I am working with BLDC motors and controllers in electric vehicles.
We have a 48V 5kW BLDC motor with rated RPM as 3000.
Does this mean that the voltage across the motor will be 48V only when it is running at 3000 RPM and the controller varies the supply voltage to achieve various speeds? Or is the voltage maintained at 48V across all RPM delivered by the motor? It'd be great if someone could explain how the controller varies the speed of the motor in terms of modifying supply voltage.
Thanks in advance!
