BLDC motor Outrunner rotor material?

Hello,

What is the rotor material(RV-100-Pro) for an out runner BLDC motor?
Rotor ring (where magnets are glued) will be made without laminations

The end-bell is typically aluminum to save weight and to make machining easy. The shaft is some type of steel.

It sounds like you are asking about the cylinder that the magnets are glued to inside it. It must be some type of carbon steel to act as a magnetic path for the magnets "back iron".

Stainless steel or aluminum would be very bad for performance.

Electrical steel would be the correct material if you can get it.

Mild steel with a high silicon content will still give OK performance if you’re on a budget.
