Hi All,

I have just joined and i am looking for some help please

I have a Bosch E Bike battery which i am attempting to change the BMS out on. The problem is the BMS that came out has a common charger/ discharge lead going to it.

It also had leads going from the positive and negative of the battery to the BMS (4 wires)

The BMS i have to replace it has the C- and P - .. which confuses me since there is only one available.

I am presuming i therefore connect the negative from port in the battery case to the P- on the BMS and link the C- into this aswell ?

The positive lead from the case will goto the first positive cell and B- from BMS will goto the last negative cell

Any assistance would be much appreciated

AFAIK your Bosch system will only work with a Bosch BMS. There is a short protocol exchange between bms and controller every time your power up that checks for genuine battery b. Aftermarket bms won't work. Only thing you can do is replacing dead cells.
