Bosch Bat620 2 PKG.jpgBosch has released a NEW 18V HC (High Current) battery Bat620 4A and Bat 619G 3A
I bought some Bat619G which are 18v@3A for 70.00cdn each. I opened them up and it seems to have Konions inside 5S2P. There is two cables from the circuit board 1 for a thermal sensor and the other goes to the fuel cell lights on the casing. So like other FP there is no BMS
So by placing 2 packs of 619G in series you get 36V@3A, or using 620 you get 36V@4A

On Ebay Bosch Bat620 are selling in 2 packs for 150.00. Amazon.ca is offering 2 Bosch 620 for 150 CDN with free shipping. Also Home Depot ( US ) twin pkg for 149.00 US

I have been using Bosch Fat Pack Bat 836 (36V @2A) for 4 years now and paid around 100.00 US for each pack about 3 years ago.

By using 2 18v Bosch Bat620@4A each. You get 36 volt @4A for 150.00.
The Bat 620 & 619G are real easy to assembly a pack because they are 2 rows of 5 cells stacked on top of each other These new "cool packs" have a new type of casing that are design to remove cell heat from battery casing.

I was lucky enough about 4 years ago to get 6 BAT836 Fatpacks at $45 apiece. They are still in daily use powering my wife's e-trike. If these come down a bit they may be worth it to me. Best batts I have ever used. No balancing needed still.

Yes I am still using my Bat 836 from 4 years ago also . I like the idea of just using/charging them with not having to worry about anything. $ 75.00 US for a 36V 2A battery is not a bad price with "peace of mind" at no extra charge.

While the BAT36's where a good deal years ago, and mine too still live, that's way too expensive to use now. I picked up 500wh Nissan Leaf battery modules for about the same price, and great 18650's tab welded into convenient blocks using either higher power or higher energy density cells for half the price and far less weight and bulk.

Thanks for confirming there is NO BMS ! Many believe all major brands use a bms, and didn't believe me when i said bosch packs use Konions and don't need a BMS.
as far as the bat620 price, amazon quotes me in us $89 each!
UPDATE: I just ordered TWO DeWalt 4ah 18v for 98 free ship from HD. That is 49 EACH!
