My plan is to make a electric powered shopping-cart! :D
I am going to swap the old wheels out, to use go-kart tires.
I don`t know which motor to use, so i ask you guys for help?
Need a powerful engine that is not too pricey!

Despite your crazy and not so safe idea I would say what It is possible.

What kind of wheels will you install instead of the caster wheels?

Look for a turnigy 1000W geared DC motor, that would be an easy vision. To gear the motor to one of the rear wheels.

Look for longboard projects here in ES forum to take ideas.

If it was me, I'd use a Ford FE block like a 390 or 427 and C6 transmission. It's a truck engine, and you can get them cheap. It's also an extremely heavy engine, it would help offset having such a tall vehicle by giving it more weight in the base... But that's probably not what you mean.

What are your plans for this?

I am thinking to sit quite low to the ground

More like go kart size, with reinforced shopping cart frame.
