Just getting all the new fets and wires sorted out on my new 206 6 fet board.
My board dosn't have a transister at the hall connection area(HE) for the CA connection.
WiIl a 2N2222A do the job?
Also where does the throttle wire from the CA go?

Thanks Eddie

I would ignore the HE connection and solder the speed wire straight to one of the hall connections.

I don't know the 6 fet board well but if it is the same the 12 and 18 fet versions then for the throttle override connection see Geoff57's post here.

Thanks Mike,

I had the programming working then I added the CA connections and checked it all worked on the CA and spun the motor up, it was all good, then.....
When I went back to reprogram the board .... nothing..... click the 'Start Transmit" and no progress bars. Checked the board with a magnifying glass, no solder blobs/bridges...bugger. Tried on two computers as well.
Sounds like I stuffed the MCU.

How are you initiating the transmit? Do you have a switch in the GND line or are you using the plug-in method?

Mike,
I am doing both. I plug in the header to the USB and then I switch the +5v USB power to the two +5v points on the board as per the instructions from Lyen I found in another post
Eddie.

Switching the 5V doesn't work on the EB2xx series boards, you have to switch the GND.

Alternatively you can keep the switch closed and plug in after you have hit transmit. You have to plug in at an angle so that the 5V pins contact first.

Must have zapped the MCU. Iv'e treid everything to program it, nothing works.
Iv'e ordered a new controller.
One question. If a switch is used on the Gnd wire do you have it open when you plug in then close it to program, or the reverse.
