hi...
here's the thing,

i have tektro e-sub disc brakes, which use magura mineral oil, since i don't want to use 2 different oils i thought about getting magura front disc brakes. (m2) problems is that it doesn't stop very well. so i read that shimano also uses mineral oil, but someone told it's not the same viscosity, and it will leak.

another thing, does anyone know if the tektro e-sub have different brake pads (better ones) then stock? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_1008467_langId_-1_categoryId_273955

one last thing, i heard there there's some sort of an adapter you can connect to any discbrake which can be used to connect to an e-brake, where can i find sucn a thing? is it easy to install?

Magura blood, Shimano brake fluid or LHM automotive fluids are all the same but their color. You can use any of them, even mix them together to make the color that you prefer.

yea, sure, now seriously.. :) (i always get a warning not to mix oils of any type).

Mixing oils of the same type is OK. Those mineral brake fluids are the same type, classed as LHM and they are the same density. You could even mix a different density of the same type, LHS or RR brake fluids for an example, since they are mineral oils as well. This would make for fine tuning your brakes for extreme hot or cold weather.

We commonly mix suspension fluids of different density for fine tuning, providing they are of the same type, to adjust the rebound dampening past the maximum setting of the damper valve.
