I want to put an idea in the ether: Fast DC charging stations in and before locks. The 20 minutes spent waiting before and in a filling/emptying lock could gives hours of silent crusing.

I want to put an idea in the ether: Fast DC charging stations in and before locks. The 20 minutes spent waiting before and in a filling/emptying lock could gives hours of silent crusing.

Seems a bit unnecessary when they spend every night tied up at a place where 240 AC charging is available. I spent a week on one and was always parked near a pedestal.
