i was looking for a heavy duty clamping style torque arm....mainly so i can have regen braking not undo my axle nutss.

ive only found one type of clamping torque arm.

just wondered if there are any other options out there?

I use the lighter duty 12mm version of these. They aren’t the perfect solution because they are still 2 piece, but they don’t rely upon a hose clamp.

The alternative is to make your own custom 1 piece. But these are ok for me because I’m only running a geared motor at 1500 watts, so no regen.

i have purchased several of the hammer ebike type recently....the 5mm thick stainless ones (two normal and one one star adjustable). ive only put one normal one on my e-bmx. Nice quality parts!
i also left out the jubilie clip and arm part and went straight for the m6 bolt in a tapped hole in my dropout plates. (there's an m6 nyloc nut on the back too) i also use a tab washer on each side aswell.

however the dropout plates on my bigger 26" bike are also steel but 6-7mm thick...i already use a custom inner lug washer and an outer tab washer in conjunction on both sides.
i feel going to a normal torque arm wouldnt help me any more with anti-axle "death spin" rotation.
id only really want to add one if it meant i could turn my regen brakes on again.
im guessing the only type that resists regen axle rotation is the clamp type?
