MSNBC today - Clear your Google History now!

...starting March 1, Google is going to unify all your privacy data from your various accounts, such as Gmail, YouTube and Web searches. What that means, in part, is that your past Web searches could become part of a big pot of information that's out there for Google to use to establish better profiles of its users for advertisers.

I have several accounts though business activities; some are organized/managed by these associates. It is worth while to go through and check to see if you have History with them; some admins use it and some don't. Though I have not logged in on the primary account in weeks, it was still up-to-date on all my Google browsing! I have decided to switch search engines.

There were about 5 or 6 of them including yahoo back in the beginning.

Google wasn’t born yet. DEC was still around, though not for much longer. People still thought UNIX had a chance as a mainstream O/S. CD-ROMs had been out for 2 years. Microsoft, which was about to release a brand new UX bound to the next O/S… was just starting to get on the ball testing SQL and ASP in the market that would in a year become TerraServer.com, the largest unified online database ever (at that time), which ultimately evolved into Maps.Bing.Com. Those were the days... 8)
