Just stumbled across this little guy.

Weird looking two seater that looks like it would tip over in a gentle breeze. But apparently it will do 0-60mph in 4.0 sec, a 1/4 mile in 12.0 @ 120mph, and has a centre of gravity to rival a Porsche 911. If you believe there spec sheet. Which incidently claims over 1,000 ft-lb, and 600kW power.

Back where I lived, it was produced locally to me.

They primarily use lead acid near the bottom to get the low center of gravity.

they use 2x big DC-motors in this smal car...

600kW is possible...

but the "car" stil looks shity...

The center of gravity of the "car" might be close to a Porsche, but once you put two average Americans in there, assuming Bubba will fit, the CG goes upwards exponentially.

$121000 for a kit that I have to source from different manufacturers and 8 hours assembly work?

I'll take a tesla roadster...

Indeed. Either too greedy (unrealistic is probably more realistic) or far too inefficient manufacturing processes.

Hey I got to sit in one of those. This was at the EV Rally in Palo Alto, CA. Don't really recall to much about it. It was kind of cool almost like sitting in a indy car due to the small cockpit but it looks tall and narrow it is truly scary.
