Hi Everyone,
First, let me say I appreciate everyone here in the community sharing knowledge and E-Bike culture. Thank you for being awesome, I have learned a lot in the last year.
Here's the relevant info:
The Issue:
Basically, the bike is too slow on paths when in restricted mode, and too fast when unrestricted even at Level 1.
No matter what I set the Speed Limit to in the Admin/Advanced settings (using 1919 as password), it is not respected by the bike. For example, if I set it to 12mph (19kph), the top speed limit will still be 22kph (when using the speed limiter dongle).
Reddit thread about the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/ebikes/comments/i32ub1/mac_hub_motor/
Is there a way to wire up my controller so that the limit set in the display is actually used? Or am I doomed to buy a new controller because ASI is ridiculous when it comes to accessing a retail bought product of theirs?
Here is the wiring diagram filled out to the best of my ability.
