Purchased a Cycle Force Group (CFG) 29er aluminum frame from Amazon for $60 delivered. Turned out it had a Bike Nashbar label, and I've had a couple of their frames that are still providing excellent service. The 18 inch frame weighed 1743 grams (3.8 pounds). Will review it further after installing a new Cyclone. If you need a rigid steel or aluminum platform, Amazon has good prices st times.
