Disc caliper fit

I knew that this is a common issue with ebike conversions, but I can't see how a disc caliper could fit.

Maybe if I got a much larger rotor and used the included rotor spacer? The spacer makes the rotor stick out so much through there just isn't enough room for the cable apart from possibly flipping the motor so the cable exits away from the frame.
(Motor is a MXUS 3k turbo in 135mm dropouts and bike is 160mm brake stock)

What do you think I should do? preferably without buying a new caliper. Grinder is an option but I'm not sure how much I can grind without weakening it.

Yep, larger diameter rotor. Perhaps mock one up in cardboard or plastic to test fit.

The slimmest non-hydraulic callipers (on the hub-facing side) are slimmer than the slimmest hydraulic callipers. And they can be easily ground down further.
