I am trying make some calculations before making my eMTB MBS Matrix motor mounts, so I can order a piece of plate aluminum.

So I was wondering if anyone could tell be the distance between the truck axle (center) and the motor shaft (63mm, center).

THX

Correct Centre distance can be calculated once you have some or most of this info.

1. Drive and driven pulley teeth number. (Or desired reduction)
2. Pulley belt profile type. Or pitch
3. Wheel diameter.
4. Motor kv
5. Battery voltage.
6. I suppose you also need desired top speed to answer some of the above.

Once you have the info you can go and use the centre distance calculator here http://www.sdp-si.com

Sorry, I should have more clear--Whats the approximate distance?

I just need to calculate the dimension of a piece of aluminum plate to order

Unless you tell us what diameter the pulleys are, both drive and driven, we can't tell you centre distance.

>Because too short and the pulleys touch each other.
>too long and you waste materials
>too long and it's more prone to flex.
>too short might not have enough teeth in mesh.

Center distance is determined after calculating the other stuff.

Most eboards are about 66mm. With some method of belt tensioner built it.

Thanks
