Sounds like the browser security settings are set a little high if it is objecting to a self signed cert.

Why are you using a secure connection (https) instead of a regular http connection?

FireFox did an update which appears to have caused the alert. They did another update this morning and the alert has gone away. I have deleted the certificate and the problem has not returned.

Even so, I'll put that on the "to solve" list. There might be a difference between the www.endless-sphere.com and endless-sphere.com certificates that needs fixing.
