EVT electric scooter

I'm looking at buying a electric EVT scooter I would like to know if there's away to make them faster.

Also are these brushless or brushed motors?

Thanks I think I'm going to go with a electric bike kit rather then one of these scooters I can see why there no longer being sold.

Which of "these" scooters are you referring to?

The EVT scooters were great -- in 2003. However, that is a very long time ago. The newest electric scooters are much better in design and execution.

Imo electric scooters have many advantages over electric bikes, but finding a competent and honest retailer is the usual challenge for consumers.

My friends from Taiwan sent me articles and posts alleging that the EVT scooters were just a scam to milk government subsidies that were being given out at the time.

I would suggest that you do not buy a used EVT scooter either -- they have numerous issues, see Yahoo Groups, etc.
