I want to use 20"x4" fat tires on my yet future trike I'm hoping to start building next spring, but I'm having problems finalizing parts for the front wheels.
The question is, I'm seeking a very solid axle and turnbuckle (or kingpin), like on ATV's or small dune buggies. I can source the sway arms, but I need a source for the turnbuckle and axle arrangement as I have never tried to put a 20" fat tire together with a long rigid axle to be attached to a turnbuckle so that the wheel is suspended by just one side of the wheel. Where do I get these turnbuckles and axles?
I'm also interested in converting the head tube headset into being used at the turnbuckle, but it may not be rugged enough, IDK.
