Hello everyone, so I'm doing my first conversion on a pit bike that is intended for off road applications only & I have a couple of questions to ask the more knowledgeable people on here if I may please?

So far I've got the bike frame, all stripped down engine out ect. The bike has 14" rear wheel 17" front.

I am going to order a QS273 8000W 72V V3 14inch Electric motorcycle Motor Conversion Kit from here...

I was thinking of powering it using 4 x 52v 17ah battery packs in series & parallel to give me 104v 68ah. Reason being, is that I already have 2 x 52v 17ah batteries that I already use on a couple of ebikes that I converted, so I only need to buy another 2, saving me some money.

Does this sound feasible or should I be looking at a different battery all together to power the QS273?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.

Forgive my noob mistake of thinking 4 x 17ah batteries in parallel would give me 68ah.

Each pack peaks at 60ah, max constant is 30ah.

What battery setup would be a better alternative?

If I have to spend more then that's fine.

hey no apologies, i could be wrong in my calculations, too! If my numbers are correct, your battery may or may not be suitable depending on what you want the bike to do. 12000 watts might be more power than the gas engine puts out on that bike.
