So... Much hullaballo in Toronto currently about our mad/crazy town Mayor (must remember to invite him to join us) re his recalcitrance about flying the "gay" flag outside Toronto city hall.

So I was thinking... (this is where many say OH OH)

Is there a flag yet for the Ebiker Nation (I guess for those that enjoy having sex with their electric bicycle or something like that)?

After all, the US "South" once had their own flag (and a REBEL yell. Plus, AFAIK, no sex was involved, just a differing of opinion, bordering on "religion", watt may sound familiar to some riding better electrically).

Any thoughts, anybuddy aboard here in the Alt. Universe of ES, on watt a rebel ebiker flag might look like? (I do own already a "pirates" flag, w/human skull and bones (leg bones, I guess), plus flag/skull has eye patch, ear ring and red bandana (to keep the sun off, of course), and a big grin (guy that gave that flag to me possibly had me in mind :)

PS... Any rumours I was caught having sex with my electrical thingee (more than twice) are lies and slanderous. (Besides, the pics they took haven't surfaced anywhere on the internet or elsewhere that I have heard about yet.)
 
Something to do with a middle finger, and a gas pump. On a green background of course.

Best part of any ride is passing a gas station along the way. The longer the line there, the bigger my grin.
 
Ohhh... Good one, oh Master DM! Butt some might find the "one fingered salute" somewatt "negative" perhaps? Perhaps rebel ebikers EVerywhere might instead use that hippie "peace" two-fingered thingee "salute" (plus something naughty too of course)?
 
I like this artifact that through its form and message communicates a primary, immutable right of presence not afforded to most other road users. Makes a great flag, too.

Ohhh! I'm not really a gambler, but a possible "bingo" there! (Perhaps the hippy two-fingers aka "V" for voltage as background image?)
 
Oh oh... Another entry from that stinky master guy (who may or may not have been enjoying drinking some beverage or other)...

Perhaps the Ovoid (spherical, sort of) Planet might have some sort of voting mechanism? (All for one and one for all, I figure.) And in any good piratey fashion, perhaps should be put to a vote?

Anybuddy else here maybe want to challenge TWO masters of the electramaterrific thingee?

EDIT: The idea behind an ebiker flag, BTW is to manufacture (and sell) these flags as a fund-raising thingee for ES plus maybe other ebike organization.
 
OK, the don't tread on me with a 'plus' and 'minus' on either side of the snake.
 
Go Go! ...err, "gogo"...from the land of the potato eaters (probably of Irish extraction). So, Don't tread motif, plus/minus, PLUS V background? (I tend to think the simpler the better, generally. Watt doesn't explain some women I have known. - Just kidding, OK?)

EDIT: Post Script (for any Romans, etc, etc.) I realize the colour "green" is maybe "in vogue" these daze, but I do own/wear a bright "emerald green" coloured scarf... Not so much for that enviro thingee, but for my potato-eater roots, my family having passed through Ireland at one time. The "emerald island"... EVer heard of it? It may be that that whackie Wm. Drennan (Doc, poet, "educationalist" AND POLITICAL RADICAL) is known as the first to mention "the emerald isle" in a poem he wrote in 1795-1800. Per Wickid-pee-di-a:

BTW... A black-coloured background flag might be pretty cool, but given the reason one might fly a flag (to be better seen by others), may I suggest a large part of the whole background be in "Day Glo" emerald green (for maybe max "visibility" at night/in the dark)?
 
OK! (The Stig-Meister hath spoken.) Unfortunately, while I maybe can tappity-tap on a computer keyboard, my drawing skills are sorta pathetic. Enough that I haven't bother to dabble w/comp drawing stuff (watt I suspect, like most things, is easy for the initiated). So I was kinda hoping the denisons aboard the Good Ship ES might "flesh out" a flag design watt they want/can agree upon (thank the gawds we're not tapping here about any ebike tech!).

BTW... And speaking of revolution (maybe file this in the Go Fly A Kite category), I once flew kites made by Peter Powell (his "Sky Stunter" design, seen here:

(And yah, it's those crazy Engrish blokes - but we forgive them anyway?)

Anyway... One surplus "tail" (the "long drogue") made a handy-dandy "flag" attached to the mast when trailering my first "catamaran" sailboat (see "revolution", above) so it was flying off the ground waaaay behind the back/end of the mast.

Anyway... So I was thinking (re an ebiker nation "flag"), it might be nice if wattEVer design worked equally well flying on a longer "pennant" shaped flag.

PS, for landlubbers. That mast wasn't stepped/raised up, silly!
 
two old style globe top gas pumps side by side with sad smiley type faces....balloon...E-bikes never stop here... the E would be a large lightning bolt styled letter.... images black or red against a green background... or just green images against a whit background ... gas pumps could be stylized looking beat up and tired[ leaning slightly] with dripping knozzles at the ready:mrgreen:
 
Hehe... My "problem" currently is I can't sketch up these ideas for folks here to pick. :(

(BTW... I recently moved to Scarborough, ON, so am slowly moving closer to your "hood" (though suspect it may be easier to get to by boat).
