Just rec'd via twitter:

Flagstaff, AZ ev converters Electric Blue robbed evening of July 3rd, asking community to spread word. http://www.electricbluemotors.com/

So if you're searching craigslist in the AZ/CA/NV/NM area, be on the lookout for stolen motors. Trying to get more info, will update as I get it.

I read that "due to the nature of the robbery", the insurers won't pay. Isn't this sort of thing what insurance is for? What "nature" could a robbery have that would negate the usual sorts of coverage?

At least tell us who the insurer is so we can try to avoid the same predicament!

I wonder if the person with the insurance policy omitted to tell them he had " alot of batteries " in the house !! *looks over his shoulder at the dozen types of lithium cells on his work bench... gulp..

Can't have them, can't ship them, what the hell are you going to do now? Thank goodness I live in a developing country in a house that is mostly concrete.

Wow... they really got cleaned out (list of stuff stolen:)

A lot of EV specific stuff... not just a smash/grab for computers and office petty cash... Looks like someone is building an EV "on the cheap"...
Inse.co. may be reluctant to pay out if there is no sign of forced entry or any real proof that all items were really on hand...

tks
