I think it's a pretty good product and I admire how you guys are handling the marketing of it. There are way too many out there that say it will change everything and it's green, bla bla bla. Go on merit and design alone, if they choose it because it's electric (green) that's their decision. I'd love to try one out but I doubt it is the scooter for me.

Can you confirm my calculations?

40km @ 25km/h results in a riding time of 96 minutes.
10Ah --> 10 amps for an hour straight results in 6.25 amps for 96 minutes straight.

So you can ride for 1,6 hours @ 6.25 amps continuous @ 25km/h on 1 battery charge.
Is this theoretical or also tested? If tested, on what surface?

Also, this means you are continuously using 300W at this cruising speed.
If a 500W motor is 'geared' at 40km/h top speed, what is it's gearing ratio/kv rating?

How is your body doing after 30km? Sore legs, back ... ?
 
i mentioned testing the zuumer before,
and liking the more forward stance (not quite parallel)
it shares the load between both legs, and less upper body torson twist.
and gives a more skiing feel for me. (and it feels more fun)
Alpine snowboarding have similar forward stance also.


regarding ur video,
it got me thinking about the physics of balancing handsfree on a 2 wheel scooter,
obviously much harder then the flexscoot...

but not impossible i think,
since a dirtsurfer is very ridable...
just need more trail

I think the reason why you can't ride a normal scooter without hands easily is 2-fold:
- The extra weight of the handle bar makes it much harder! You have to swing it around to steer and controlling this weight precisely is not easy.
- The angle of the front wheel 'fork'. The more vertical it is, the harder to steer by leaning.
 
hmmm, i dont think the weight of the handlebar has much to do with it...

and i think we are talking about handle bars removed like the above flexscoot video...

"angle of the front fork" as in head angle in bicycle term or rake in motorcycle term...?

that link of the x-board shows a very verticle head angle...

as i mentioned, "trail" is more important...

dirtsurfer and other similar 2 wheel board has lots of trail.

I understand trail is the result of both rake and head angle. Both are influential so yeah, trail is the important one!
The handle bar is a 'large' inertia which has to be rotated all the time in order to steer by leaning. Your 'roll' angle (comparing with planes now) will be much harder to control IMO.
