"...2003 - Exercise in tube bending, I made a bender out of plywood. Tubing: 1.5" dia mild steel, .063" wall. I packed the tube full of sand, used a chain link fence roller as a follower, and long 2x4s as a lever

The carpenter in me says, "Thats freaking cool" Back when I did actual work, I made a lot of money by being able to invent whatever jig was needed on the spot, using a bit of plywood and some 2x4's. Nice Job!
