hello everone I bough the Turnigy Trackstar 1/5th Scale Sensorless 200amp 8s Opto Car ESC and i bough the sentellion 100a esc. after riding at the 8s on the track star and 10s on the sentellion both just stop working no sound. from my trouble shooting it says check the connectors i replaced the connectors but no sound. the trackstar has no power no spark the sentillion just blink red. can anyone tell me if they are or are no fried. signs point to yes my battery to esc wire is about 10 inchs long

I've riden the sentillion on 12 s no problem at 54 kph. My battery wires are close to that lenght..
Maybe your voltage source is fried and your remote is not connecting properly..
if they both have used the same motor maybe motor is fried..
batteries maybe low voltage cuttoff is incorrectly set?
replace remnote control batteries?

Well same motor. both just died out of no where. i would be riding for about 5 minutes for the sentillion then boom it just shuts down no more power. and with the trackstar same thing i went to the store came back right as i got home power cut off. granted my trackstar when i try to hook up no sparks when i hook up the red wire. i think its fried. does anyone know why this is happening? my remote controlle has its own battery. my motor seems to be just fine it wasnt hot when it stopped working. when i connect the esc to the battery pack it doesn't beep saying it can detect the lipo batterys. i dont have a watt meter. its not the remote. its not the recever it says it has power from the bec. let me post a few pictures

it was full and balanced. each cell had 4.1v on it. and i used it went around the block a couple of times. hooked up my 5s battery went to the store. waited 40 minutes then i hooded up my 2 4s battery to make 8s then off i went. i went about 5 minutes then it died. what would cause this and how would i stop this from happening if i bough another esc. i assume its cause i hooked up 2 batterys to make it high power and prob wired it poorly to over volt it. but im not certain anyhelp would be nice for next esc

Since they are only $2, I would start with too many. If you can borrow a Castle Creations ESC, they have data logging and you can see a graph of the voltage spikes..try to get the voltage ripple below 2V.

The problem might also be too much amp heat...not enough info to tell for sure.
