GNG motor parameters?

I have this kit, and am planning on mating this to a Nuvinci n360:

Does anyone have the torque curve, or max rpm / peak torque / peak power rpms / current / voltage info for the motor? It looks similar to other kits I've seen. A manufacturer spec sheet would be awesome.

The n360 is a max sustained 48 ft lbs, max pulse 98 ft lbs, and input power (sustained) of ~5kw, and ~1k rpm. So it should be a good fit.

A thread with all the GNG info.

...search function, super useful.

Thanks, bro. Super thankful. That thread is awful useful with 141 pages, and 3506 posts of highly relevant info!

It's about the kit that has 1.5 kw less than mine, and nearly 1/2 the voltage though. I think I'll just guess at random which motor parameters to cut in 1/2 / 2/5. I'm sure I won't break anything, since there is so much safety margin built into these parts to begin with.

Do you think plastic calipers are good enough for an interference fit? I was hoping for an interference fit on this crapulent jackshaft, and sad little freewheel.

I need to make a custom mount for this thing. Is JB Weld good for that? I really like delrin, but filing delrin by hand is such a pita. If only some good Samaritan would have had a 3500 post thread about how difficult delrin is to file by hand, I would have read the whole thing, and saved myself -42 hours of grief.

I have no idea what these threaded, hard coat anodized pedals are made of. I've heard that brine quenching, and age hardening is the best way to make strong parts, They're supposed to be reeeeaaalllly strong. I don't want stripped threads like all those other posers. I've heard it is applicable to all alloys, and makes the part both super-tough, and ultra hard. It's also not supposed to cause the part to warp at all, heating it above it's solution temperature.

Thanks, bro, thanks so much. I'll be sure to search around some more before posting anymore idiotic questions.

Anybody know anything about the 72v kit? Even just the rpms, and amps would be helpful. I used the search function, really I did. It took me a couple hours to find the button though. :x ! I just couldn't find a thread with any useful info.

Thanks for all the help so far though!

Edit:

I found this info, but it only goes up to a 750 watt motor:
http://www.gngebike.com/motorspecification.htm

I guess if I take the 500 watt motor rpms, and multiply it by 5, that should give me the 2500 watt motor specs. So it looks like a 15,000 rpm motor. Man I'm really glad you turned me on to search engines. This google thing is the bomb!

You have the option to buy the GNG kit and then change the sprocket tooth-counts, and also change the volts and amps. So...will it work with a NuVinci? It depends.

If this were a 36V Bafang BBS01 I'd say "yes" to the NuVinci immediately. If it was the 48V BBS02, I'd say "maybe". If it was a BBSHD, I'd recommend a 3-speed IGH, and...the NuVinci 360 would be a "maybe", but...probably not.

For a GNG, you might even run fine for a while with the NuVinci, but...I think you only have to break the hub once a month to ruin the build experience. In the interests of full disclosure, I have never owned a NuVinci, but I have read a lot about them from other peoples' experiences...
