Thinking of solving the transport of ebike battery but using this solderless, stackable, modular battery solution. It has three trays of 10 18650 each with a common BMS. Take the batteries out for transportation in a storage box and at the destination install them in the rack. Seems like the solution I have been looking for.
Are solderless holders reliable? Not clear what the BMS features are but it appears to support balancing. Any experience?

It uses plastic battery trays with spring contacts, I have several of those trays that I use to charge or discharge 5 cells at a time. The spring contacts are pretty stiff and work OK at 1 amp per cell, but it is notewprthy that we've not seen anyone report using these boxes successfully to make an ebike battery,

Dirt cheap which is good for some quick first impressions.

I don't know that those look robust enough for an ebike depending on how rough of a path you ride on. Might be ok for some chill cruising on a very smooth bike path but hitting some potholes at 25mph would need some very good mounting I'd think. Probably would be good to do some practice runs at home loading them up, riding and then tearing it back down to see if you learn anything.

The NESE modules would accomplish the same goal albeit for more money.
