Hidden Wire Brake Sensor with 2 wire brake Controller

I have a the 3 connector HWBS from BMS battery however the K63 controller only has 2 pin (reed switch) wiring.

Can I just take the 5v power for the HWBS from somewhere else like the hall power connector (i'm running sensorless) or the PAS or Throttle?
