Ok so I ordered another 28 cells of LiPo, so I can run 14s3p, or 21s2p once I upgrade my controller....

I also have a Speedict on the way :D

I'm gonna put in another order with HK for some bits and bobs.....

So far I'm looking at bullet connectors, 10AWG wire, some LiPo sacks and maybe some buzzers or something....

Which is the wire that everyone raves about here, is it the Turnigy stuff?

I was wanting to get some of these, but they're out of stock - any other recommendations?

What other nick nacks and things are worth picking up from there?

Shrink wrap, lots of it, lots of different sizes, different colors. Very useful stuff. Dirt cheap.

Also get extra wire and connectors, I use servo connectors all over my bike,, and some servo wire. I think they have anderson knock-off too.

Some jst/xh 6s extensions if you want to do any balance wiring - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10441
super glue - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7174
Voltage/temp alarm - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9744
threadlock (strength of your choice) - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10959
switches - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4841

Also look for any tools or foam or something to get. You won't get much cheaper than hobbyking with anything, unless maybe it's really heavy.

Superglue, Shrink tube, threadlock......I have all those but looking at the prices on HK, yup, I'll be ordering those! That's exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to hear about, thanks!

balance connectors - they don't do 7s....I wish I knew where to get 7s for that price.....anyone?

Watt meter - the speedict will do that, but I still want some kind of buzzer......

What about the 10AWG - Turnigy? or the other silicone wire?

Anything else comes highly recommended in the bits and bobs category? :D

Get:
An 80w Solder Iron with spare tip for $2.99

Ha, maybe that's a good idea, though the reviews don't look so good. When I soldered my existing connectors, I had to use two soldering irons to get it hot enough and I still ended up with one bad dry joint that caused my charger to complain until I tracked it down. plus I had to get my wife to feed the solder in and she burnt herself and fell out with me for a couple of hours, lol

I would still love to hear of a good cheap source of 7s balance connectors , they are $5 a piece on ebay and I need quite a few of them - maybe I ought to post a separate thread..I'll see if anyone responds to this first....

To the rescue.:)

Doh! Thanks Wes, I was just searching for 7s and should have been looking for *8 pin*

That's much more reasonable....
