Hi. My 36v 9ah tube battery was stolen, and now I am in need to make another one. For my little project I will be getting this set:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Water-bottle-type-e-bike-battery-box-Used-for-18650-cell-assembly-With-free-cell-holder/1565979743.html

I am guessing that I will also need to get 18650 5000mah? 10x? batteries to match my stolen battery.

The main problem I am having though, is trying to figure out how to assemble the batteries. Example: 10S4P

I tried looking for 10S4P diagram on the net, but couldn't find anything. If anyone can kindly draw a diagram for me I would really appreciate it!

Thank you !

i bet it would be cheaper to buy the bottle battery already assembled and then you don't have to buy a spot welder and learn how to weld along with figuring out what 4P means.

10s4p means 10 cells in series paralleled 4 times, so 40 cells. using LCO 2500mah cells that will be a 10ah 37V battery pack. All battery types wire the same. This may help.

Save money and time just buy that battery if it is strong enough for your needs. It looks weak. To build a battery you need to match and cycle the cells first. And a lot more for success. Plus BMS plus ect..

Thanks for the replies. This site was actually very helpful http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/lipo.html

The battery that was stolen was enough for my daily trips so building another battery pack just like it was enough and still cheaper than buying.
