I have a NiMH pack that came with a turnkey bike and it has a circuit board with several connections to the controller. My electical knowledge is minimal and I wish to use this battery on a different bike. The thermistor appears to be connected to the circuit board by both wires. I need to remove the circuit board because it only works with the original controller which has speed contol, economy mode and other fuctions which I do not need.
The other NiMH pack I am using from Ebikes.ca has only one thermistor wire coming out of the pack, which goes to the battery charger, I need to know how the second wire is connected. I have done a search with no luck.

most often one end of the thermistor goes to B(-) and the other to the charger.

do not be confused with thermal switches. in the photo from Ypedal that pack has a thermistor that is buried in the pack and connected with 2 thin black wires. the big whith thing on the side is a thermal fuse and it is connected in series with the charger (+) line.

Thank you Gaston, my next question was going to be " To the side of what? " :) . Thanks to Rick and Dnmun for explaining Gastons photo. I should now be able to charge the battery when I get back from my morning ride. :p
