How many feet of pure nickel strip is usually used for a 72v battery pack?

I'm building a 20s7p (140 cells) and probably going with 0.15 x 8mm nickel strip? Will 20 ft sufficieth?

I'll be going with the Phaserunner for the controller, so 96A max, the BMS I ordered is adverstised at 100A max continuous, 200A instantaneous. This is for a rear hub, will be used as a commuter on the roads, so 20-30 mph will be the sweet spot, with occasional 30-40 mph bursts. (Also... 8mm? or should i go w/ the 10mm 0.15 nickel strip???)

For 7p you will need to double up the nickel series buss. 8 x 0.15 Ni is only 1.2mm2 & 10 x 0.15 is only 1.5mm2.
Ampacity at best is 7.9a & 9.9a respectively.

Ideally for 96a draw from 7p you require 13.7a per series connection.

14mm x 0.15mm pur nickel will provide 13.89a per series connection and is acceptable other wise you will need to layer 8mm nickel twice to carry acceptable ampacity.

Look at the tables in the link below in the opening post of the excellent thread.
