Hello, that will be my first topic at here.
I am definitely started to planned about converting my Daewoo Matiz (0,8 motor gasoline 56HP)small shiny car to an Electirc vehicle...
All my aim is to make it for fun!
but here is some quaetions I would like to ask?
Soooo, I took out all the seat. I will be the olny driver who drives this car  So that would make this car less weigh appr. 25kg.
Than I made all the math equations for it.(i.e. total weight, frontal area, coefficient of drag, wheel diameter, etc...)
Finally I got this; the necessity power for all system is about 10HP (~7,5 kW)
that seems a little slight. anyway, than I choosed 50km max. range for that so that equals approx. 10,000Wh=10kWh battery capacity.
After that I coulnot decide how to choose a battery pack? There could be a thousand possibilities.
for exampple; OPTİMA REDTOP Li-po BCI34C 16 pack* (12 V * 50 AH) or another type of Li-po with 20 pack* (24 V * 20 AH)
Here is the questions?
1. After defining that numerical numbers, how can I choose about the batery pack? Which statement do I have to check? Volt or Amp ? What is done if I choose higher Voltaj values or higher amp values?(inverse ratio)
2. Assume that as I defined on 12V 50 Ah battery pack, the elec. motor which will be used for that car must be max. limited with 12V* 16 =192V ? or could ı choose for exmple PMG-132 with a 72V , 110A with 7,2kW...
so what is the thing that will limit the elec. motor capacity depending on batteries?
in another words, by choosing battery and elec. motor which instruments do I have to consider?

thanks in advance.
also sorry about statment devastation...

A lot of useful information can be found by scanning the EV album (http://www.evalbum.com/). Look at the components that each car used and the builders comments on the performance they got. Here's a well-engineered Chevy S-10 conversion:
