working on a 1000w rear brushless / gearless hub, built a battery out of 18650s from laptop cells seems to be working good. Ironing out details and tweaking things and figuring out what I want to upgrade and change I want to install this torque arm i purchased http://www.ebay.com/itm/181969955983?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT i cannot figure it out and it didnt come with instructions I really want to install it as this is a specialized frame that is aluminum... rear forks are welded really nicely but still scared about all the torque. thanks

Before installing your torque arm first read the Grin Technologies info on torque arms here: http://www.ebikes.ca/product-info/torque-arms.html.

The two C-washers you have are to fill any dimple or depressed area you might have around the axle so that the axle nut can be tightened down on a uniformly flat surface, which will be the C-washer surface, rather than the empty space of the dimple. The dimple is what the quick release clamp used to sit in. But if your dropout surface under the axle nut is completely flat and uniformly even you don't need to use a C-washer.

thank you i just installed it... the axle had actually started to wear into the frame so im glad i installed it. i guess it would be wise to add another to the other side... the damage was very minimal just turned a tad bit farther than it should have...
