I believe it. My shocks suck in the winter compared to the summer. Non adjustable ones that is. But cold enough, you might still have way too much damping in the winter they are having this year.

if you run the wires in from the top of the shock, then you could wrap some cloth around the nichrome wire to reduce heat loss. sealing at each end with wire tie around the cloth sleeve. flexing of the nichrome has gotta be a problem.

we were wondering where the winter went. looks like you guys got it.
