I was wondering if anyone here knew how to adjust the AMP on an ebike controller that seems locked.

First, the controller in question is:
LSW784-45-3M Nanjing Lishui Electronics Research
Rated Voltage: 48v
Maximum current:20A
Rated current:10A

From a Voltbike Yukon 750w (2018 model)

According to the manufacturer, it handles up to 25amp peak. However, it seems locked at 15A.

Using the display on the bike (in the advanced menu) does nothing.

So my question is:
Is there a way to adjust the AMP at the controller?

My best guess right now is to order this:
https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/stmicroelectronics/ST-LINK-V2/497-10484-ND/2214535

Then use the software here:
http://www.lsdzs.com/en.php/download/index/id/66.html

To attach and adjust the controller.

Will this work ?

There is a lot of variation in the software used for controller programming. You would want to be sure that particular software was compatible with the controller.

The other way to do it is by tweaking the hardware. Open the controller and take a look at the board. Somewhere between the main battery negative wire and the bank of FETs, there is usually a shunt resistor that measures the current. By lowering the resistance of the shunt, the current limit will be increased.
