Individual cell chargers, viable and available?

I've just had a lipo pack die from a defective balance charger. No big deal, an aged and much abused pack, the charger always seemed out on one cell, I never bothered double checking, one cell kaput... do six (in this case) individual chargers make more sense than a balance charger?

I hear you have to make sure they are electrically isolated if you want to charge the p-groups separately without disconnecting the p-groups from each other. So two old 1s cell phone charger wall warts would probably be ok, for example. I do have hobby chargers that can charge multiple batteries at once that are not isolated, however, so you have to be sure the separate pieces of the battery are not connected to use something like that on multiple p-groups at once.
