insane bright diy light torch like car Xenon HIDs?

what do you guys think? ps the video is old like 08 so im sure theres better things out there, i just missed a deal on the Fenix flashlight but this seems so much brighter and fun tho, the first tiny led he removes is already a pretty good brand flashlight, n just see what happens when he puts the bie one on

i remember seeing something like this when i wanted to make a diy movie projector because metal halide lamps where so expensive and this would be a cool cheap alternative tho not as bright, but this is right up at that crazy bright level, seems perfect for a light when you dont care so much about focusing the light point to focus a movie projecting thru, plus i hate changing AAA batteries, atleast AA but maybe even some cell phone battery?

just to update, i bought a uniquefire xp-g currently one of the brightest offerings in any led period, and best of cree, for like $14, its not the best cuz its not lithium but AA rechargeable powered, but still a very nice cheap solution, i love it and cant complain about the brightness, wanted an adjustable beam but found the focused beam is good enough for biking hope it helps anyone

i heard 40 mins but i think thats for max output, was at sams last week and found some real nice cree pair of lights for 26$ no clue what bulb theyre using tho
