Just got this prototype made up.

One of my clients owns a yacht hardware company and had his shop fabricate a couple samples for me.

It is 6mm thick 316 Stainless with an electropolish finishing process. It turned out nicer than I imagined.

I requested two samples. One will go on my Mxus 9C Clone, running up to 3kW max power.

If there is interest in these, I would be willing to do a production run. Price would be somewhere in the $40 range shipped to USA.

I think that his mounting method is very clean. I simply modified the shape and used stainless instead of steel.

That is VERY nice indeed.

I am interested for a future build possibly. Are you thinking of making a front-capable piece? $40 seems about good for a quality piece.

If demand is there and the part can be standardized then definitely. I think what limits demand for a specific version will be compatibility, since there are potentially many different profiles of IS bracket layout-vs Shaft Center.

If we could develop one or a few "standard" profiles that can fit as many different bike/fork frames as possible, then we could have a successful product.

That being said, I don't mind designing and manufacturing "one-offs", except that the price would increase exponentially in that kind of product.
