Kalkhoff Sahel ebikes battery connection

Can i connect an ordinary Chinese battery to Kalkhoff Sahel i8 ebikes.
I do not have an original battery.

since there is no communication wire to battery electronics so I guess any battery of given voltage can be connected.
Three contacts : plus,minus, thermistor I guess.

Yes, it should work but you need to be sure about the connections.

If there is any way to take apart the battery connector so you can see the back side, it may be very useful. The third contact could be a number of things but in most cases will still work if not connected.

i see the back side.I connect the battery ,тhe display lights up but the engine is not running.If it has thermistor,how it was connected
