Hi, my Kelly controller model kds48100e is showing following two led error codes:
X=led on
X x x X x x x X x x X x x x X x x ........... (Sequence just repeats while power is supplied)
Error code table says this is 'voltage too high' then 'voltage too low'
Motor will not run.
Can somebody offer some suggestions as to what may be the problem?
Thanks in anticipation. Fred

Thanks for your response. Perhaps I should have given more details.
Vehicle is a Chinese made trike with tray on back. Used as a farm runabout. Has been operating fine for last 6.5 years. Motor is dc 48v with stator windings (ie. Not perm magnet).
Batteries are 4* 12v series connected truck batteries giving 48v (original fit and still working ok).
When on charge battery voltage can reach 62v on equalisation charge. Normally battery bank shows about 50v after full charge and sitting idle.

Problem surfaced after wire to supply solenoid corroded at battery terminal and probably went intermittently open circuit when I was driving vehicle. Vehicle stopped and motor would no longer respond to opening twist grip throttle. All wiring repaired and in good condition now. Solenoid now works ok but no response from throttle. Cannot test throttle or controller (by exchange) as I do not have access to replacements.

I note that my sequence of 'x' below does not show the one second gap between each error code. There is a one second gap between each display of the two contradictory error codes on led indicator. Hope this paragraph makes sense!

Trust this helps you to be able to offer additional advice.
