LED light setup question.

I have a light body that will fit this drop in module I'm thinking of getting from DX.

It comes with a 3-mode driver, but my light body has a plain on/off pushbutton switch. Push it in, and it stays in/on. Click it again, and it goes out/off.

Will this thing work?

How do you think I will need to click the switch to make it go into a wanted mode, and stay there?

I'm wondering if I click it really fast, I can cycle it through modes, then when it gets to the mode I want, I can click it on/off slower, and it would probably stay in that mode. Does this seem logical?

Any suggestions?

I have a flashlight from DX, very bright and cool!
You got it right - that's how it works. The button on mine closes the contact before making the "click", so I can press it lightly to change mode and then click to keep it. Hope it helps :wink:
