Hey guys and girls,
I work in a hotel as a Maintenance officer(glorified Handyman) and they have asked me to get some prices and recommendations for LED rechargeable tea lights to use in the Spa/Massage/Relaxation area. They currently use 120odd normal tea light candles that they change 2x per day. 12-14hr days. Work was been quoted +$1000 for the 120 from local companies, I have found some on the internet for ~$400inc shipping from ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12pcs-LED-Flameless-RECHARGEABLE-Tea-Lights-Candles-NEW-/170617964339?pt=AU_WeddingSupplies&hash=item27b99f8733. Now these all use Ni-cad batteries from what i can tell and they all say they last over 12hrs, so borderline on lasting long enough.

Does anyone have any experience with rechargeable tea lights, will they last over the 12hrs to say 14hrs or are they going to die at 10hrs?
My other idea is to buy normal LED tea lights, $1 or less each. Then replaced the battery, normally a non rechargeable Lithium CR2032 with a rechargeable lithium one and bulk charger them with a induction charging pad if that's possible. The lithium button batteries seem to have a capacity of around 40-65mah

Anyone have any suggestions on a source of 120 rechargeable candles or a way to make my own advanced ones?

Derek
