I bought some BAK N21700-50CG cells just for academic research. The anode was analyzed by ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) and EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectrometer) .But the result showed that the proportion of Manganese element was very small, almost the same as that of iron elementelement. It was so weird.Doesn't Bak using NMC as a cathode material for N21700-50CG ?

I like academic questions :) The only real certainty is to dissasebly the cell and do your own material analysis of the active materials. As for the BAK CG (or other HE cells with similar capacity) it is 50:50 that it have NMC or NCA cathode. The original MSDS for BAK CG only describes the use 37.3% of "Lithium transition metal oxide" with proprietary composition. I remember that even Samsung for its 30Q once listed NCA cathode in one material and NMC in another...
